Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Delcomyn left us on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 after a brief illness. Cared for lovingly by his wife, Brenda and four amazing sons; Glen, Gary, Kevin and Andrew.
Ronnie was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Denver Harbor. He spent much of his adult life in and around Pasadena. He graduated Furr High School in 1963 and took some classes at San Jacinto College, but he settled in at C & R Auto Supply and was there for 20 years. In 1983 he moved to Syngenta Crop Protection and worked there until 2005.
As a child Ronnie had his parents, Roy and Cecile Delcomyn along with his siblings, Joyce, Peggy, Judy, Susan, Kathy, Steven, Donna, Linda, Debbie and Jean. You can imagine the stories to come from those days.
In 1976, Ronnie married Brenda Akens Cowan Delcomyn and they settled into family life with all the boys. As they have all grown and added families of their own, Ronnie also leaves a legacy of eleven grandchildren.
As time goes by we grow and change. Working, raising family and good friends; Eddie and Brenda Beall as well as Alan and Mary Holland have been tried and true. We will all miss Ronnie’s creativity in woodworking, his joy with the grandkids and in general, his love.
Please come celebrate his life, Friday December 22, 2017 from 6 – 8 pm at Stepping Stone Funeral Home.
Ronnie will be laid to rest in Midway Cemetery , Hodges, Jones County, Texas at a later date.
